What we design

Electrical jobs that need an engineer's seal, from one sheet to a small building. Drawn and calculated for the building department and for FPL.

Power to equipment

Pumps, lift stations, fuel dispensers, EV chargers, generators, elevators, container and temporary yards.

Typical sheets: Riser and one-line, load calculation, short-circuit and voltage drop, site power plan, details.

Ask about this

Service upgrades

A new or larger service, new or combined panels, relocated disconnects in an existing building.

Typical sheets: One-line, load calculation from FPL demand data, panel schedules, electric room plan.

Ask about this

Fire pump power

Dedicated service or tap, fire pump disconnect, two-hour rated feeder and jockey pump circuit, per NFPA 20 and NEC 695.

Typical sheets: One-line, starting voltage-drop and overcurrent calculations, route plan, pump room details.

Ask about this

Photometric studies

Parking lots, sites, fuel canopies and garages. AGi32 calculations, fixture layout and a point-by-point report. A sealed lighting plan is available.

Typical sheets: Calculation model, fixture layout, point-by-point report.

Ask about this

Repairs after a 40- or 50-year recertification or an infrared thermography report: we design the electrical fixes. Ask us about your report.

How a job moves

  1. Send the job

The site plan or survey, the equipment data sheets, and the FPL account if the building has one. Email or the form. Send what you have; we tell you what is missing.

  2. Get a proposal

A written scope, the fee and the delivery date, usually within one business day. Nothing starts until you say yes.

  3. We design and seal

Calculations, one-line, panel schedules and plans. A second engineer checks every set before it is sealed.

  4. You pull the permit

Digitally signed and sealed PDFs, ready for the building department's e-plan review. We answer review comments on our plans.

Why contractors send us the small jobs

You talk to the engineer

The engineer who seals your plans answers your call and your email. There is no intake desk between you and the person doing the work.

We know what FPL wants

A large part of our work is utility design for FPL: make-ready, underground and overhead distribution, vaults. When your job needs a new service or a transformer, we already know how FPL wants it drawn.

Electrical is what we do

Equipment power, service upgrades, fire pumps and lighting calculations are our daily work. If a job also needs mechanical, plumbing or structural, we bring in partner engineers and you keep one point of contact.

Questions contractors ask

What do I need to send?

The site plan or survey (CAD or PDF), the equipment data sheets, the existing service details, and the FPL account number if the building has one. If something is missing, send what you have and we will tell you what else we need.

How do you set the fee?

Every job gets its own written proposal, priced from the sheets and calculations that job needs. You see the fee and the delivery date before you commit.

How fast do I get a proposal?

Usually within one business day. If you have a permit deadline, say so in your message.

How long do the plans take?

The proposal states a delivery date, counted from the day we have complete information. Tell us if you need it sooner.

Do you deal with FPL and the building department?

Yes. We coordinate with FPL on service and transformer requirements, and we answer building department review comments on our plans.

Which counties do you cover?

Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. We have also sealed plans elsewhere in Florida, so ask.
